The sole uses Saltic's 4mm thick 'Extasy' rubber, which is known for great friction on the wall. The upper is synthetic, which means it won't stretch out much over time, so the tight, performance fit you get from day one is the fit you'll keep. It also has a 'wrapped arch' design that adds extra rigidity, translating more power from your foot to the wall. Closure is via two quick-pull Velcro straps, making them easy to get on and off between attempts at the bouldering gym or crag.
