Carburetor Choke Thermostat P-1490916 Compatible With Dodge Dart 1962-1976 & Other Classic Models

About This Product

This is a very specific part for classic car enthusiasts, especially those with older Dodge Darts (from 1962 all the way through 1976). It's a carburetor choke thermostat (part number P-1490916). On older cars with carburetors, this little device controls the choke flap based on engine temperature, helping the engine start and warm up properly. If your classic car is hard to start when cold or runs poorly at startup, this might need replacing. This is an OE-style replacement part, meaning it's designed to be a direct fit and function just like the original. It comes as one unit. Super important to check the detailed fitment chart in the pictures to make absolutely sure it matches your car's exact year, model, and engine. A small but critical component for keeping your vintage ride running smoothly.
