The whole thing has a textured black powder coat finish to fight off rust and look tough. A really smart feature is the removable cross bars. You can take them off to fit different sized loads, or to easily take your hard top or soft top off without dismantling the whole rack. Just a heads-up: it's made specifically for the 4-door JK models from 2007-2018 (won't fit the 2-door). It has a weight capacity of 350 lbs.
