Blue Demon BD-3000 Alloy 3000 Welding Electrode - 3/32" X 14", 5lb Pack For Dissimilar Metals & Repairs

About This Product

Tackle tricky welding jobs with the versatile Blue Demon BD-3000 alloy electrode! This 5-pound pack of 3/32\ x 14\ rods is your go-to for joining dissimilar or unknown metals—think steel to cast iron, or repairing old tools and machinery. It's also famous for its 'stud pulling' ability, meaning you can use it to weld a nut onto a broken bolt or drill bit to extract it. Works on AC or DC reverse polarity (DCEP) in all positions, and lays down smooth, spatter-free beads with good strength (94 ksi yield, 132 ksi tensile). Perfect for maintenance, repair, and fabrication in construction, mining, or agriculture. A must-have for any welder's shop when you need a rod that can handle a bit of everything.
